LAY aside every WEIGHT

Hey Faith is Beauty FAM!!!

So I had written some notes in my Iphone 2 almost 3 years ago on March 20th 2007. It's funny how as I was in all night prayer tonight the LORD had me go back to this, and the name that I titled these notes was "Lay aside every WEIGHT".

This is exactly what I wrote:

Lay aside every weight....Divest (to strip away) your self of anything that's going to distract you...What's slowing you down? When are you going to get connected to GOD?....Is your phone slowing you down? You talk 300 minutes this month, when was the last time you spent 300 minutes praying to Jesus.

Maybe it's a RELATIONSHIP that's slowing you down....Let's lay aside excess baggage that's weighing our minds and busying up our minds and lives....don't wait for an angel to come take it away LET US lay it aside... and Lay aside SIN that so easily entangles us....Weights will slow you down but SIN will destroy YOU!!!

Don't you know sin will take us further than we Plan to go...Let us run with perseverance with endurance let us run the race that has been marked off for us, you have to be patient....This Christian life ain't about being fast GOD sits outside of TIME...Keep your eyes fixed on JESUS, and stop worrying about everybody else and everything else that does not help you in your walk with GOD!!!!~

So with all that in my notes I got to thinking, is that why we are not seeing the results we want because we won't lay aside every wait....are we just soooo content with spending life in mediocrity and not experiencing GOD the way he intends for us too.

The devil loves the fact that we keep busy and make up excuses of why we couldn't sit in GOD's presence today, but the presence of GOD is a whole different topic that I will get into in a later blog, but stop half stepping GOD and give him all of your attention. If you desire to know the plans that he has for you as Jeremiah 29:11-12 (New International Version) states:
11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

For he knows the plans he has for us, but we need to get into his presence and hear from him...GOD desires to talk to us just like we talk to our love ones he is no different! So in closing until the next blog:
